As I get better at posting more frequently you will see how much I LOVE thrift shopping! I noticed that once I went into a thrift store my love for fashion grew. You open your mind to new fashion possibilities, and I pride my fashion sense on mixing new pieces I may have gotten at H&M or forever 21 with a thrifted item. It gives your outfit flair and personality! Here are a few blazers I have gotten at local thrift stores.
Denim blazers, jackets, and vests are adorable all year long but I especially love them during spring and summer. Throw on a denim blazer with a bright pair of jeans, or a denim vest over a frilly lacey dress. Simply adorable.
Next, a coral cropped blazer. I love finding things at the thrift store that look similar to pieces I see at the mall. Bright neons, and pastels are also very in.. along with color blocking.. So throw on a cropped bright colored blazer with a simple white tee and dark skinny jeans, or a royal blue bodycon skirt.
Next, this is a find that I just found yesterday! Literally 2 dollars! How can you be afraid to play with fashion when you find cool pieces that are so inexpensive?! Like I said, bright colors are very in.. this oversized rainbow blazer will be perfect in the spring with a tight pair of skinny jeans and simple flats.. maybe even some interesting glasses.
So, I literally have almost a closet full of blazers.. chose a few that represent current trends. At a later date I will post pictures of these peices styled with an entire outfit. This blazer is adorable.. looks totally brand new and is the perfect accent to a nautical themed outfit. Mix with a simple white tank and a red tight skirt, or high waisted denim shorts and oxfords in the summer. love!
